Please read the appointment description and ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for the appointment before booking. Appointments that do not meet the criteria will be canceled without prior notice.

Important Notice:

• Online bookings for the week of May 19 are temporarily unavailable due to limited scheduling and short staffing. No new patients will be seen during this week.

• Dr. Naran will be away from May 24 to June 15. During this time, online booking will be temporarily disabled for appointments after his return to prevent schedule overflow.

• Patients are welcome to contact the office directly to request an appointment.

• No new patients or reassessments (for those not seen within the past year) will be scheduled until after Dr. Naran’s return. Urgent referrals may be considered based on availability.

New Patients and Reassessment Policy:

An assessment is required for all new patients. If you are a returning patient and your last appointment was more than six months ago, a reassessment will be required.

Dr. Naran received his first qualification as a medical doctor in South Africa in 1987. He moved to North Vancouver in 1993 and practiced as a family doctor for 25 years. Since then he has transitioned his practice into treating muscular pain.

Throughout his journey, as a medical practitioner, he has encountered many patients with injuries and sprains and has always wanted to find an alternate and more natural form of pain relief for his patients.

He obtained his Acupuncture qualification at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995.

In 2008, he obtained his certification in Trigger Point Therapy at the George Washington University, home of Janet Travell. He is a registrant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada since 1990 and a member of the Canadian Foundation of Acupuncture.

Dr. Naran has realized the importance of a rehabilitation program in conjunction with his pain treatments. That has led to the creation of a kinesiology-based fitness program; Rejuv Medical Fitness. www.rejuvfitness.ca
