Dr. Naran will be away on vacation starting November 22 and will return on January 2nd, 2026.

We are not currently accepting new patients or reassessments. Please check again in the new year for updated availability.

Online Booking Availability:

• New year availability for online booking appointments will remain limited until the last week of December to prevent schedule overflow.

• The office will fully reopen on January 2nd, 2026.

• We understand this may be frustrating, and if the wait time is too long, we recommend seeking care from another qualified practitioner in the meantime.

Dr. Shilpa Dabholkar (Locum):

• A locum physician will be available during this period for follow-up patients only, provided they have an active treatment plan pre-established by Dr. Naran (i.e., seen within the past 6 months).

• Dr. Dabholkar will not accept new patients or reassessments.

• To book a follow-up appointment with Dr. Dabholkar, please contact Gabi at doctornaran@shaw.ca.

• Phone calls can be made to 604-986-4214, but note that the phone lines will only be open during locum office hours, and voicemails will not be monitored as frequently as email.

Dr. Naran received his first qualification as a medical doctor in South Africa in 1987. He moved to North Vancouver in 1993 and practiced as a family doctor for 25 years. Since then he has transitioned his practice into treating muscular pain.

Throughout his journey, as a medical practitioner, he has encountered many patients with injuries and sprains and has always wanted to find an alternate and more natural form of pain relief for his patients.

He obtained his Acupuncture qualification at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995.

In 2008, he obtained his certification in Trigger Point Therapy at the George Washington University, home of Janet Travell. He is a registrant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada since 1990 and a member of the Canadian Foundation of Acupuncture.

Dr. Naran has realized the importance of a rehabilitation program in conjunction with his pain treatments. That has led to the creation of a kinesiology-based fitness program; Rejuv Medical Fitness. www.rejuvfitness.ca
